Columbus, Ohio Election Morning 2004. Too few voting machines for too many people in the predominantly black Easthaven neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.(through #8731)

Long lines & waits of up to three hours. Several people left in frustration in the pouring rain, some in confusion about instructions involving the first letter of their last names. Most said they would return, but many more stayed, vowing to wait "as long as it takes". It was reported that in previous years there were 4 voting machines delivered while this year there were only 3; precincts with 3 voting machines had between 1,000 and 10,000 registered voters, it took and average of 6 minutes to complete the complicated ballot, so each machine working at full capacity could handle 130 voters in the 13 hour voting day.

I'm curious about the length of the lines in Rebublican districts, if any of you know about that, please email.
