The second Tuesday in November is Setting Day in Grand Manan.  The lobsters haven't been touched since June, they've shed and their old shells and the new ones have hardened for winter.  In three days the boats will race South from Ingalls Head, Seal Cove and White Head to set their traps in the best spots.  Sparks of excitement heat  the cold air.

More reports from LOBSTERLAND as it happens....this is just the beginning.

A question: two years ago $8/lb was the selling price of lobster up here, next week my friends will be paid about $3.80/lb at the dock, they're pretty upset about the way the distribution system works. What is the current price of lobster at the markets in the city? Has it gone down?
